AFRICA: FORD STAND
THE BRIEF: We were asked to devise a mechanism that would drive
visitors to the exhibition to visit the Ford stand.
THE
SOLUTION: Pairs of performers circulated through the show,
as if they were regular patrons. They talked enthusiastically about the
Ford Stand within earshot of groups of people. Once people visited the
stand, they experienced three highly entertaining live performance pieces
which celebrated the personality and values of the various Ford models.
THE
RESULT: Traffic on the stand resulted in the sale of 20
vehicles. The stand was also awarded a Gold Medal by the exhibition organizers.
