JUSTIN FOXTON

Justin began his career as a theatre performer, writer, director and producer. He has spent the last 15 years of his career in the field of alternative and experiential communications. He is now renowned as a leader in the field of face-to-face marketing in South Africa, and abroad.

Having worked for two years in a number of positions for South Africa’s leading alternative communication company, The VWV Group, Justin left to start Comment. He developed the product portfolio of Comment, pioneering such concepts as Direct Theatre, Boardroom Theatre, Live Point-of-Sale, Ambient Theatre and Digital Theatre.

He built the company over a 5 year period, developing it into a market leader; multi million rand, multi award winning and now international business. He is now based full time in the UK.

DEAN MCKAIN

Dean graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand. Having excelled as a writer, musical director, director and performer, he spent the first two years after graduation creating shows for the corporate and commercial market in South Africa.

After two years of world travel, he returned to South Africa to begin Comment with Justin. He worked not only as a key director of the business, but as senior campaign producer; managing and creating shows, their logistics and budgets. He also did an extensive amount of writing and directing for which he won a number of international awards making him a key creative force in the business. He was managing director of the South African operation for two years, and steered the company into a market leading position. He recently moved to England and joined the Comment UK team on a full-time basis.

VANESSA PIKE

Vanessa graduated from the University of Cape Town with honours in Speech and Drama. She went on to perform in various fields of the South African entertainment industry, during which time she won a coveted Best Actress award at The MNET All African Film Awards.

Her passion for Educational Theatre moved her to open a touring theatre company called HERO Productions that toured schools in South Africa, teaching Life Skills lessons through theatre and entertainment. She also produced and co-ordinated various face to face marketing campaigns for various companies including Comment SA in South Africa.

Vanessa recently relocated to London and is now a full-time member of the Comment UK team.
